Paintings — atlasfloyd

I graduated from Cardiff Faculty of Art with a B.A in Fine Art, but it took another ten years to find my voice as a fine artist. My main inspiration is music and live bands. I try and capture the split second of kinetic energy which make gigs so thrilling. I work exclusively in oil paper on paper, which gives the medium a messy, chaotic quality. I love the texture of oil on paper and recently I’ve begun to add sand to the paint to create an extra bite.
